She is fairly level headed and down to earth very outgoing and social, doesn’t like the city as she was raised deep in the country. History: Kats mother and father owned a cattle ranch deep in the country it was an hour to the nearest town, everything was perfect in their eyes and when they found out that they were having a baby it couldn’t get any better. It had been a pretty rough pregnancy for Kats mother and when it was time to have her things didn’t go so well and her mother passed away shortly after Kat was born from complications. Her father stepped up into the role and raised her by himself, often times having to strap her around his chest just so he could go help with the cattle.
When Kat was old enough, he taught her to ride and soon enough she was riding along side of him learning the ins and outs of the ranch. She got her first horse at this point as well, an old gelding that was still full of pep. She learned the hard way to get tough with that gelding but that’s how her father wanted it, he taught her how to shoot and fish. When she turned 16 she had her first cigarette and first drink after school and it was down hill from there. She got into boys and parties but kept it hidden well from her father.
She also got into rodeoing at this point and moved on to a much younger faster horse. She won many titles and belt buckles and her father was always right there cheering her on. 3 years went by more and more of the work of the ranch fell into her hands as her father got more and more sick, the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him but always told Kat not to worry and to keep him comfortable. One day when she came back up to the house to cook lunch for the guys she heard a loud thud and ran to her fathers room, she found him dead. When the autopsy came back it had been a massive heart attack. Kat stayed on the ranch for a year longer before finally finding the right person to own, she packed up her two horses and her dogs and headed here for a new start.
