[attr="class","boxas"] zeyarah inshirah nasrallah Personality Caring • Even if shes putting herself in harm's way, Zeyarah is always playing the Good Samaritan role. Any time someone is in need or in any kind of trouble, she will go out of her way to lessen or eliminate the problem. This caring nature causes her to also be extremely protective. It's probably just a mix between a natural maternal instinct and where she came from, but she's very, very protective over her family, friends, women, and children. She would take a bullet for a loved one(and literally has on a few occasions). All of this comes with its limits, however. She will not allow anyone to take advantage of her and if she notices that she is being taken for granted, she has no problem with totally cutting you out of her life. Although she's compassionate, the one part of that she lacks is forgiveness. The second you cross her, all of that caring nature disappears. She holds grudges until hell freezes over. If your transgression was severe enough, she'll even go so far as to exact some kind of revenge. And sadly, that lust for vengeance can consume her. Proud • For a number of reasons, Zee has a natural dignity and pride that can't be shaken. It almost borders on arrogance. Her beauty, bloodline, and homeland are all sources of pride for her along with the reverence she's earned in Baghdad as the "renowned Lioness". One could say it's gone to her head with the way she struts around with an air of superiority. She has an ego twice the size of Saudi Arabia and it shows no sign of being knocked down. Her dignity will not allow anyone to belittle her. If you patronize her, expect backlash. She doesn't allow kufars to disrespect her. She's too proud to ask for help, too proud to admit she's wrong, too proud to ever admit that someone's just simply better than her in any way(even if they clearly are). Fearless • This is a woman that has faced down armies of men armed only with an assault rifle and steel determination, with only a few allies at her side. It doesn't matter your strength, size, social status, or if you're armed to the teeth, you don't scare her. Just like you cannot threaten a mujahideen with death, you also cannot threaten Zeyarah with death or pain. She would accept any ill fate with unflinching dignity and still have the gall to tell you to burn with Shaitan. Unfortunately, this bravery sometimes steps over that thin line of stupidity. Valor is often a breeding ground for reckless abandon and Zeyarah is no different. She has been warned time and time again that her bravery and disregard for consequences is going to be her demise. She's not the biggest, strongest person in the world - not by a long-shot but she certainly makes herself believe that she is. Romantic • In both definitions of the word, Zee is a romantic. She often has exaggerated and glamorized views of certain things. Reality is often skewed by her imagination. Many Arab girls are raised to believe that true love will bring you happiness and that it is the other half of your دين (deen). Zeyarah was raised the same way. She is very passionate and highly values the "romance" aspect of her relationships. She has a soft spot for lovey-dovey bullcrap that most people would scoff at. She still has that little girl's dream of finding a prince charming. Resilient • No matter what, she always seems to bounce back from any bad situation. It may take a long time but she always seems to be able to move on. She's a strong woman, fully capable of handling problems. Observant • She is always the type to wait and listen as opposed to getting directly involved in a situation. It's a strategic habit of hers and it isn't done out of shyness. It's more because she looks for danger. Old habits die hard. There is literally nothing that goes unnoticed by her. Every person, place, and thing gets scrutinized by her discerning eye. Quiet • Again, it isn't out of shyness because fear isn't in her vocabulary. She doesn't jump on the opportunity to speak to someone and if she gets pulled into a conversation, she tends to let the other person do the talking and keeps her dialogue short but profound. She would rather listen than speak. Smart • Once you do get her to speak freely, she's quite eloquent and can discuss a wide range of subjects. She's a modern-day Isabella d'Este, able to hold her own in conversation with a vast majority of people(even though it might take her a long time to get past her habit of staying quiet). She's quite well-versed in art, literature, politics, and music and prefers meaningful conversations over small talk. She's also very curious, jumping on any opportunity to learn new things about anything at all. STAMINA: 5 SPEED: 5 AGILITY: 5 INTELLIGENCE: 5 History Born in Baghdad, Iraq during the holy month of Ramadan in 1990, Zeyarah Inshirah bint Asad Nasrallah(زيارة إنشراح بنت أسد نصرالله) was the youngest of the 6 Nasrallah children(and the only girl). The Nasrallah family was very well-respected in Iraq due to their involvement in the Iraqi military. Her father, Asad Nasrallah was the former Fariq Awal(or General) of the Iraqi army - the second highest rank in the military, answering only to the Prime Minister himself - and every one of Zee's 5 brothers were in the Iraqi Special Forces. The Nasrallah children were never given a choice to not fight. If you're in that family, you either join the army or a resistance force. You have no other choice. They are an ancient bloodline, most of them being warriors who either fought in an insurgency or under a king's banner. Growing up, Zeyarah was shy and reserved, preferring the company of her brothers over the company of the young girls in Baghdad. She was always too shy to talk to anyone else. She spent a lot of her time either reading or exploring the outskirts of the city with her brothers. Although she got along well with all of her brothers, she was closest to Altair who was only one year her senior. You couldn't see one without seeing the other. As the only little girl in the family, her father and brothers were highly protective over her. So much that her father took it upon himself to give her some military training so she could protect herself. She had been trained ever since she was able to grip a combat knife. Hand-to-hand, sniping, stealth, basic first aid, survival techniques, escape techniques, and even archery and swordsmanship were all taught to her by her father on a makeshift training ground in their backyard. She became a warrior because she refused to be a damsel. These skills were quickly put to good use when the Iraq war started. Zeyarah and Altair were both very young when the US invaded Iraq in 2003. 13 and 14, respectively. While Zee's other four brothers went off to fight, she stayed home along with Altair due to them both being too young to join the military. Though, the children were certainly not afraid of the terrorists that threatened them or the bombs that went off much too close to home. They were raised like warriors and acted like it. Fear was not in their genetic code. Instead of cowering, Zeyarah joined groups of independent fighters(usually composed of army veterans and citizens) to fight against anyone that threatened them, whether they were brutal extremists or foreign soldiers with a sadistic streak. Zee became your classic resistance fighter - covered face, desert camo, grenades, assault rifles, and wrapped in strings of bullets, killing those who would oppress her and fiercely protecting and liberating the oppressed. She proved to have a knack for war and could hold her own in a battlefield full of men, despite being a teenage girl. It wasn't to say that she never got into trouble. She had been wounded many times, and even captured once or twice, but always proved astute enough to cheat death on many occasions. And alongside her brother, Altair, no situation seemed too tough to get out of. In addition to fighting off terrorists and enemy soldiers and preventing several attacks on innocent people, Zeyarah often helped refugees cross over into safer countries like Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, tended the wounds of both soldiers and civilians, fed the hungry, comforted orphans, and even offered shelter to families whose homes were demolished. As the years passed, the fighting never let up, never became any easier, especially in the capital city of Iraq. It seemed as if it was getting worse, in fact. On top of all that, the family had recently received news that Yusuf - Zeyarah's oldest brother - had been killed in battle. Soon after, Altair left to train for the ISOF when he turned 18, leaving Zee feeling more alone than she ever had. But she didn't allow her emotions to cripple her. She fought on - and she fought like a lion, even being given a nickname by both her enemies and admirers: The Lioness of Baghdad. Despite the fact that the war "ended" in 2011 and her brothers had long since been sent home, the danger was still very real due to the extremists that still roamed the region. For two years, the Nasrallah siblings defended their home just like they had been before. Despite being an independent group and not being apart of any kind of official army or organization, they did quite a number on the extremist groups through their carefully planned and skillfully executed attacks. Of course, no matter how well they did, it was never enough to eradicate the villains completely. When Zeyarah was 22, her billionaire uncle, Talal, convinced her father to send her to Saudi Arabia to live with him to get her out of danger. Of course, this decision was met with much protest from Zeyarah, who wanted to stay in Iraq and help her people. Asad Nasrallah's normally unwavering demands to have his children fight was shaken only due to the relentless nagging of Talal Nasrallah. She lived a life of absolute luxury in Saudi Arabia for 2 years, after which the rest of her family left Iraq as well. They decided to move to the USA after a few months after the "family reunion", and now live a comfortable life in Aurora. Despite being offered a life of luxury, Zee's father turned it down, claiming that he didn't want to turn into a family who lives off of supercars and oil profits at the expense of the poor. They live an upper middle class life but no matter how comfortable, they never stop missing their homeland and all of its war-torn beauty.
