The women had been up sense dawn, the memories plaguing her dreams and no matter how hard she tried they wouldn’t leave. She had finally gotten out of bed, ran herself a bath and immersed herself in the warm water until it grew cold and only then she pulled herself from the tub and got ready for the day, he shadow fowling her every move, making sure she was ok. After a thorough cleaning of the house and putting more stuff away and then went to her tiny barn to visit her very special horse, he was slowly gaining the weight back and looking more more like he was supposed to, she wished she could say the same for herself but they had all come along way and many more milestones to overcome. She had stayed in that barn for who knows how long, braiding and grooming the gelding, cleaning his still healing wounds and murmuring to him, it would be a while before she began working with him, she knew at one point in his life he had been ridden but now she wanted to go slow after everything he had been through and just give him the time he needed. A whine got her attention and she turned to look at her therapy dog and gave him a nod and led the special horse to the small paddock off his stall, she had fenced off a portion for him so he felt safer but could still stretch his legs and get some fresh air. She bit her lip and made her way back up to the house, slipping the vest over the dog and clipping the leash to his collar and heading back out. The dog fell alongside the blonde haired women, who wore skinny jeans a pair of strappy sandals and a black fleece, pulled up around her neck. The duo walked quietly along the street and towards town, finally reaching the park they made their way around until the came to rest in front of the pond. She took a seat on the bench, Bud curling up by her feet, watching the ducks. She took a bag of seed out of her purse and tossed a handful their way, tucking the rest away as she sighed and scanned the park nervously before once more relaxing tuning out the world and focusing on herself.

We've not yet lost all of our graces
I could be described as many things. But monster wasn't one of them. In fact i'm far from it. I look intimidating, sure, but i'm a good guy, honest. Besides I could never hurt anybody... when i'm not angry at least. But that rarely ever happens to be honest. I have no demons, no reason to be bad. Besides nobody likes bad people. It only causes conflict and drama, and I want no part of that. Being bad is just dozens of sins packed together as a group inside you. You may not feel guilt but it doesn't mean it's in any sense right to do. Being nice is just a lot better than being a devious person.
Luckily Feilyn didn't get any murderous or threatening traits from his father, thankfully. While he grew up around him he got more from his mother. A strong-willed personality with a kind heart. He looks up to his Mom even now when he can't see her, he knows she's still watching over as his trusty guardian. His mom was an essential part to him becoming a Doctor and quite frankly he's grateful for it. Helping others is refreshing even if it takes up most of his time, he does have his days off.
He woke up early as he always did, waiting for a few moments in bed before his dogs started pushing him off and barking excitedly to go outside. With a grumble and a playful shove to the two bulky canines, he set off to go groom himself. He had his bitter and strong coffee before setting out, dogs packing into his truck before driving off to go check on his Sooty Tovero mare. He groomed and fed her, cleaned out her stall as the two dogs bickered in the background and chased each other in the open fields near by.
Finishing off his beautiful Saddlebred, he once again had to rally his two pets up and shove them into a car to go to the park. They had bounced up and down in the back seat, eager to get their large and muscled frames outside to go run and exercise. They were like pups sometimes. With a sigh and a chuckle the man slowly parked before throwing open the doors and releasing the two dogs to let hell break loose in the park.
Ginger raced down, large deep orange paws slamming themselves on the grass with a yip. "C'mon Thunder, you're so slow!" She called back to her 'brother' playfully with a big smile lighting her equally as large muzzle. Her fluffy fur swayed on her form. Thunder was slowly jogging way behind his 'sister' of sorts with an amused look. "We should of waited for father but no you just had to go didn't you?" He barked to her, tail swaying behind his body. Dark brown eyes looked at her in a authorative sort of look. Ginger groaned and rolled her eyes. "You're such a party pooper!" She yapped back before slowing down to a light jog to allow him to catch up. He might of been smaller but he was the male of the two and had more authority than her... well, when she was too lazy to try and fight him. Thunder nodded his lean head approvingly before slowly walking ahead. Thin ears flicked forward, looking like a general or a commander rather than a regular pet. His black nose wiggled as a scent entered his nares and a curious look lit his features. "Ginger, somebody's here." He said as his gaze flickered over briefly. "Smells like a dog and a human." He explained before transition into a brisk jog. Ginger's floppy ears shifted forward, half lifting up before trotting after him. "Maybe a new friend for Dad!" She answered excitedly, fluffy tail wagging behind her. Her smile returned once more as shrubs neared toward them. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Ginger." He commanded in a serious tone before slowly going back to a walk. "Let me go first. I don't want you tackling everyone in sight." The male ordered once more before slowly breaking through the bushes silently. Though he made sure his scent drifted toward them to alert them of his presence. He spotted the human-like form sitting near the pond and the large golden male. "Hey, dog. Got a name?" The Thai Ridgeback asked the pet next to the female human as his gray collar shifted around his neck.

He would always protect his human, she needed him more now than ever and when he was on the clock he was all business and no play. But when he was off the clock he was something else, playful but still loyal, he sat up and smelled the air catching wind of two dogs heading their way, turning he whined to Eloise so she would get out of her own little world and prepare for the arrival of dog and eventually human. Eloise looked around wondering what had gotten him to give an alert, in the parking lot she could see a truck now and shifted nervously because now they weren’t alone there were things about to happen that she could handle if it was a female but if it was a male it would be a whole different story. Bud sat closer to his human and saw one dog push through the bushes and ask his name, he nodded to the dog, “Bud” was all he said, he didn’t want to get in trouble because like he had said he was on the clock for emotional therapy and protection, that was his job and a job he did well at. She saw the dog and smiled a little bit relaxing and petting the top of Buds head, most would ask why the dog even wore the vest when he wasn’t a physical therapy dog but he wore it for a reason and that was because he had been special turned to help with the scars she carried. “You want to go play huh?” She asked quietly reaching down and undoing the harness, the dog was hesitant for a minuet looking to Eloise, she reassured him and the dog trotted off happily to play with the other dogs. He bowed and lowered his to sniff the ground, “Sorry if I came off rude when im on the clock im not allowed to do anything.” He spoke looking to his human to make sure she was still ok.
Notes: Talking puppy and hes in for a rude awakening with Eloise and her scared nature lol

We've not yet lost all of our graces
Feilyn slowly pushed the car door closed, light brown eyes flickering around the forest scene. With a sigh, he marched forward, a hand slicking his hair back. Shoving his palms into his pockets, thumb resting on his thighs as he glided through the trees, staring ahead as the barking of his canines faded and faded, growing quieter and quieter until the point they weren't even there anymore. Shoes brushed against the dirt ground casually as a puff of air blew from his mouth to push his hair out of his face.
Thunder peered at the approving smile with a small grin of his own. "Bud." The gray Thai Ridgeback approached the two with a friendly wag of his tail. The fleshy human beside him spoke a few words before taking off his bright orange vest. Dark brown gaze watched him jog over to the male, causing his muzzle to reach forward to catch a whiff of his scent. "Sorry if I came off rude when i'm on the clock i'm not allowed to do anything." He nodded his lean skull understandingly. "Of course. Our humans come first." He answered, gaze shifting slightly backwards. "Wanna meet my sister? Prepare yourself though, she's a hugger." He warned before turning his neck and head towards the shrubbery. "Ey Ginger, you can come out now!" The male barked before the gigantic female bounded outwards with a happy howl.
Ginger shoved her muzzle into the gold and white male, rubbing her nose all over his facial features, violently friendly. She shoved her head underneath his chin with a quick nuzzle. "Hi there! I'm Ginger, what's your name- ooo whose that over there? Is that your human? She's pretty! My dad would like her. Hey human!" She yapped to her before trotting over to the woman with a smile. Lowering her head, she gently sniffed at the feminine shoulder. Glimmering dark eyes looked up lovingly with a soft smile, flopping onto her stomach, hardly asking for permission to sit with her. Hey she might be friendly but it didn't mean she was polite.
Thunder raised a paw to rub at his muzzle and facial area in embarrassment, accompanied by a whine. "Sorry about her... she's uh... well I would love to not call her annoying but she really is." The gray dog said with a shake of his head. "That's your Mother over there, right?" He asked curiously with a small tilt of his head, gaze wavering over to the two girls before looking back to him. "I'm Thunder by the way." He greeted himself, sitting down on his haunches, thin and small tail curling neatly towards his long legs. He puffed his chest out slightly in a sort of regal air, ears flicked forward with a small smile.
Feilyn followed the ginormous paw tracks in the dirt left by his Tibetan Mastiff. As long as they don't kill somebody... I swear these dogs are too playful for their own good. He thought to himself with a humorous puff of air from his nose. He peered through the bushes, taking a step out to notice his dogs socializing with a couple of others. His gaze naturally first went to Ginger, knowing she'd get into some sort of trouble while Thunder was more of the cool and serious type. He spotted the human figure near the water. Slowly clearing his throat quietly, sitting on the ground a respectful distance away. Seemed Thunder taught him some good. "Uh... I hoped they didn't disturb you, miss?" The man asked quietly and politely.

Eloise watched the dogs for a while, noting that the other male dog looked to the bushes and out popped a very eager female dog, she gave a small laugh and turned her gaze back to the pond and the ducks that floated within them seeming to become lost within her own thoughts. Bud was taken slightly back as the female dog rubbed her nose all over his face and started speaking a billion miles an hour. “Bud and yes…” she was off before he could finish, turning he watched as she sniffed his humans shoulder and flopped down next to her, Eloise reached a hand out and stroked the friendly dogs head as she continued to watch the ducks. “She seems very eager is all maybe she would benefit if she had a job or something to do to focus her energy on and Yes she is my mother and I would do anything for her after what she has been through and its nice to meet you Thunder.” Bud spoke taking a glance to his human and then back to the other dog, scenting the air, he smelled the other human. A male at that and he stood scanning the area, finally spotting him as he sat down a respectful distance away and spoke, he could feel the change in Eloise and jogged over to her placing his head on her lap and whining. Eloise was instantly on edge with the presence of the male, even though he had sat respectfully away it still didn’t ease her mind. She reached down and placed a hand on her dogs head, “n-n-no harm done, sir.” She squeaked fumbling to put Bud’s vest back on, she was getting ready to make a hasty exit away from the park and back to the safety of her house.
