[attr="class","boxas"] Shonda Leilah Josephson Basics Recent Thread: N/A Species: Human Personality: Shonda reacts to her passions very emotionally, however when it comes to other things she tends to keep them to herself. She is a marine biologist and seems to care more about animals especially sea animals than people, often getting very angered by people (though she never makes it obvious) yet she seems to have more tolerance with animals. Shonda has a reliable sense of social awareness and tries to get along with everyone, hoping that if she is simply nice they will go away. Despite her mother, who mostly took care of the children and being a fictional writer Shonda took after her father who was a biologist and enjoyed fact over fiction. Security and stability are very important to Shonda. She tends to keep a routine during busy times of the year, but in the end she gets caught up in the heat of the moment and ends up going with the flow. Every since she was 11, Shonda held strong skepticism of the motives of others, and a belief in justice and being self made, making her sometimes seem intimidating. She does however have good self discipline and is able to plan and think ahead. About two years later Marcy gave birth to twins one girl and one boy, named Clarissa and Dre. Shonda loved having two younger siblings because she got to spend more time with her father. She always prefered being with her father and taking care of the horses once a week at the Centennial Stables. When Shonda was five she went on a kindergarten field trip to a marine park and one of the baby dolphins were sick. The marine biologist there talked about the animals forever when Shonda asked about the dolphin. After that she would talk constantly about the dolphins and other animals. When was was 8 her parents moved them to a rather large private island where Shonda would spend hours studying the nearby dolphins and enjoying time with her rather fearless cat named Princess. One day when she had some cousins visiting, one of them started making fun of Shonda and threw rocks at the nearby dolphins. Once that was done, the dolphins didn’t come back for a long time and since then Shonda didn’t trust others. As she grew up, Shonda would sneak out at midnight to spend time in the ocean and studying the sea life. Though one time when she was 16 her parents caught her and asked where she was going, Shonda got mad and yelled at them saying, “Why do you care! All you do is mistreat animals anyway!” After that her parents followed her and saw she was just spending time with the sea animals, her mother then spent time teaching Shonda to keep her feelings to herself. So, as she grew up on their island several things became a routine; fighting, studying and a longing. Shonda went to college and graduated at the top of her class making her family proud. Soon after something happened. Shonda returned home one night and said she was moving to America. Her parents were furious they wanted their first child to stay in the country. She explained that she needed to leave and even though they didn’t want her to leave she did anyway. Since then things with her parents have been a bit rocky. Moving to Aurora was a choice she made on a whim. Though she doesn't regret it at all. |
