MIA CURRINGTON
TAGGED open
WORDS 300
NOTES Muse: Downtown - Lady A.
| The trails were alive with birds singing, more like screeching, to one another in the canopies of the trees. It was a beautiful day, and what true down to heart equestrian wouldn't take advantage of the perfect riding weather?
Mia had gotten up a little past noon and had saddled up her sixteen hand grey dun donkey jenny and hadn't bothered to ask anyone else to ride along the trails with her. Hell, she was nineteen years old (and still in high school due to flunking) and was quite capable of taking care of herself.
Holding the leather reins securely in one hand she sat back in the western saddle and allowed the jenny to pick her own way along the trails. "Glad there's nobody to annoy me way out here." She grumbled to herself as she tucked a free strand of blond hair behind her ear with a free hand.
The donkey brayed loudly in response which would have been a dead give away to their presence if anyone had been within earshot. "None of my brother's bullshit and no having to dodge any of anyone else's bullshit." The only thing that was missing from the duo, was Mia's spiritus, although the trails weren't very far from the home so she remained in good spirits.
Reaching forward she patted the donkey's muscular neck before nudging her slightly into a surprisingly smooth jog. "I don't care what anybody says, donkeys are way better than horses." She spoke with a smug smile as she nudged the jenny into somewhat of a gallop down the trail in attempt to see just how fast and how long the equine could run. |

@fawn with @miacurrington Hope this is okay Reese didn't really mind where he lived, but he had been forced to reason that he had to live with style to ensure that everyone knew who was on top. But, lets be honest here, he could live in a damn cockroach infested townhouse and not give a shit. But, that kind of lifestyle was not in his cards. Little Aiyana would have something to say about that, and much as Reese hated to admit it, the little girl did like to boss him around. Of course, not a normal for a man of his status. He was hardly a man to let anyone tell him what to do, he was the one giving orders usually. He was sitting down on his enormous couch in front of a flat screen tv, finding things to be very boring. He had no orders for his men to follow through with, so they were off at home sitting on their lazy asses as well. "Daddy!" The little girl came running into the room, tears were streaming down her face. What day was it? Oh yes, it was monday and Aiyana was returning home from school. His hand clenched into a fist, wondering what was causing his little girl to cry. Reese would have figured with his job proffession as a lawyer, others would be scared of touching his daughter, not to mention that job was only a cover up for what he actually was. If anything, Reese was fully prepared to go rip someone's head off for messing with his kid.
"What is it, Princess?" The little girl's mouth opened up, a smirk was hidden from him as she looked away, knowing that her father made things happen. "You remember Roger, daddy?" The little girl spoke with good grammar, which was surprising for a girl her age. She was only five years of age, and already his daughter was very intelligent. "We were playing tag... and I don't know Daddy..." She started to sob helplessly for extra measure, and it made Reese even more furious. "He pushed me onto the ground, see!" Aiyana rolled up the tights on her left leg, showing a large gash on her knee. "Did Ms. Kasey take care of it?" The little girl shook her head before elaborating on what she meant by that. "No, She had to go inside to take care of something.... She left Mr. Drake to watch over... He was playing a game or something." It took a minute for him to digest all of this information, deciding he would send one of his men to deal with it. "Okay, sweetie. Daddy will take care of it. What do you want to do this afternoon Aiyana?" Her eyes lightened up at his words, happy with being given the decision. She started jumping up and down in excitement, Reese happy to keep his little girl entertained. "Horses!" He bit back a groan, not fully understanding her obsession with horses at the moment, but it was what she wanted. "Okay, go put on your tennis shoes!" The little girl scurried away, quickly coming back with tennis shoes on.
He led his daughter to the garage, grabbing his daughter's bike off the rack, along with helmet and handing it to her. He grabbed his bike, and motioned for his daughter to follow. They found the entrance to the trail quickly enough, his daughter racing up ahead. He started to panic though when a hill came up, and she disappeared out of site. "Aiyana!" He picked up his speed, screeching to a halt when he saw Aiyana standing there, staring at what he thought was a donkey, with a woman on its back. "Daddy look!" He smiled, completely lost in his own world right then. She was a decent enough looking woman, and Reese could not help but admire it. Of course, Reese had no fluffy thoughts in his mind of the woman, just mostly images of how he would destroy her. He was perfectly aware though that his daughter was around, and Reese wasn't willing to let her see just how sick her father truly was. "Well, hello there!" He smiled at the woman, eyes roaming her body... Deciding he didn't care if she noticed or not, after all, if she said something it would be around a child... And, she was going at a pretty fast pace on the donkey. If he was just by himself... Things might have been different, the woman was very luck in this scenario.. He couldn't do anything at the moment. ♡
