Distinguishing Characteristics?: Hayden has a natural calm and confident aura about him that makes it all too easy to relax around him. Although he is powerfully built muscles are toned a slight leanness giving him the impression that he isn’t too bulky. Out of love for his country and the Royal Marines he has their logo tattooed on his right bicep. It is a reasonably small decoration consisting of the knife and text ‘Royal Marine Commandos’ surrounding it in plain black ink.

Personality: Born and raised in a military family Hayden is a man of morals the disciplined upbringing giving him an old sense of honor. Regardless of whether he knows someone or not he would put himself in harm’s way if the innocent were in danger. Although a natural charmer when relaxed he would never dream of one night stands even though he slips into a little flirting at times. After all it isn’t right in his view to build girls hopes up only to disappear the next day. Like most marines he is extremely loyal not only to his unit but to family and friends as well. He’s dependable a constant presence of confidence the natural aura of relaxed friendliness making him a comfort to be around. Used to waiting around on tours he can have moments of being a goof his uncanny ability of knowing if a squad members needs a little bit of tough love making him one to tease constantly if needs be. If he sets his mind on it you might find it a little frustrating after a while if you aren’t used to it. Despite his disciplined lifestyle he does have a temper and while he has learned to control it over the years sometimes it slips. Normally extreme stress and pressure does the trick causing him to lash out at the nearest object just to vent. Hitting a women is something he would never dream of doing just like he does his best not to raise his voice around one either.

Personality: Trained in the military to be a patrol dog or work alongside a handler this girl can be very territorial and possessive. She is extremely protective of her human companion all to eager to take down someone or something she considers a threat. That being said she is obedient and easily reined in due to her eagerness to please. When relaxed she is a loving affectionate creature always up for a play. While she is receptive to other dogs after some careful introductions she prefers humans.


Hayden has always had a reasonable stable upbringing surrounded by a loving and supportive family. Being born and raised in a military family his upbringing was an active one focused very much on sports and getting good grades. Routine was a key factor also with Hayden and his two brothers quickly adapting to the idea of joining the forces in some way themselves. It was this idea that had their father introducing firearms to them slowly at a young age at the same time they took up martial arts. At eighteen Hayden applied for the Royal Marines and passed as an officer like one of his brothers before him. Within a couple of months he was posted to Iraq in a mass movement to other throw Saddam Hussein and implement a democratic government. The tour lasted a year in which he proved himself as a leader but also selfless when he risked his life to save a local young women. After returning home his unit was given two months leave before once more being posted to Iraq for another year tour. Yet again Hayden met the same young lady he had met on his previous tour once more leaving himself vulnerable in order to get her out of a tight spot. His third tour in Iraq comes a brief two months after his last only repeated itself the same young women making yet another reappearance.

With UK troops pulling out of Iraq completely his third tour was his last there. After returning home he and his unit were given an extra month of leave then normal while awaiting news to their next posting. The unit was sent to Afghanistan for a six month tour before being rotated out to Saudi Arabia for six months. In part it was designed to give the unit a break but mostly because of the violence that was slowly seeping out of the Iraq borders. The flood of refugee was putting a strain on border controls also so with the close relations between the two countries the UK had promised aid. During the six months Hayden yet again came across the now lady he had saved several times before. Once the six months was over the unit was immediately rotated back in to Afghanistan this time for a year tour. The loss of two comrades and back to back tours had the unit given three months leave and another three months based at home enabling them to spend time with families. A six month tour in Cyprus followed the unit spending most of it being put through training exercises and relaxing. The unit was then rotated out to Afghanistan again for another half a year before being stationed over in America. So far the unit and Hayden have remained stationed there only leaving every now and again for granted visits back home or the odd week training exercise in Germany or the UK.
