As a rundown, there are now two breeding and foaling seasons for horses. Horses bred in the SPRING will foal the following Summer. At that point in time, the foals will be considered two years of age within that season and will age to three the following Spring like any other horse.
Secondly, mares bred in the Summer will foal the following Fall. There foals will be considered two years of age within the same season. Just like the previously mentioned "Summer foals", they will age normally come next Spring as well.
That being said, it is still recommended to participate in training threads to gain "tameness" points for these youngsters. Gaining 5 tameness points considers the horse "broke to ride", but you may continue to gain tameness points until 10 points have been acquired.
