Appearance: Standing at 6'1 and lightly muscled, Oliver doesn't exactly have an intimidating body type. His dark hair contrasts his fair skin, and his eyes appear to change between blue to green. The right side of his back is covered in tattoos. Seen here. He has a lip ring, pictured here, and usually has a smug expression. He keeps his face clean shaven, and generally wears tight tee-shirts and jeans. For shoes, if he's around the horses, he wears old cowboy boots, but when he's out and about in the town, he typically wears white sneakers. He is very careful about the way he looks, although doesn't worry much when he's with horses. He can often be seen with either Dr. Pepper or coffee in his hand, and typically wears an old leather strapped silver watch. His hair is nearly always done up, and when riding, he never does so with a helmet, so as to not mess up his hair too much.
Personality: A true extrovert, Oliver is extremely outgoing, loud, and very much the life of the party. He loves it when everyone has a good time, and will do everything in his power to ensure that everyone does have a good time. He's very touchy and affectionate, and isn't afraid to be bluntly honest about his feelings. He is in now way confrontational, and is a rather smooth talker, and prefers to talk his way out of things. He's very enthusiastic about everything, and extremely creative with an amazing talent when it comes to instruments. He's very open-minded, and gets really excited about new ideas, although bored with details. But, because he's so focused on pleasing everyone and being so energetic, he's very disorganized, and irresponsible, and often acts without thinking. He fears being alone, and fears being disliked. He's very paranoid about people disliking him, and, gives people the impression that he's very secure about himself, although he's not. He strives to one day be a vet for the horses, or work with stallions, but he doubts he'll ever be able to pull himself together enough.

History: Born and raised in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, it was very much a small town. Everyone knew everyone's business, and when it came to the Burns household, there was always something to be known. Oliver wasn't raised in a healthy, stable household. In fact, it was the exact opposite. For one, he had four sisters and two brothers, and he was the youngest of them all. His two brothers were the oldest, the oldest older than him by seventeen years. He was raised on a farm, with cattle, sheep, pigs, lots of dogs and cats, and for the most part, horses. Animals were a big part of the Burns household, and they held the family together for the most part. When he was born, his dad very rarely was around, and he was raised majorly but his older siblings, and taught what he needed to know about a farm. The farm was so successful that they had farm hands continually taking care of it. But when it came to the horses, it was up to the kids to take care of them. His mother was the one who taught him the most when it came to treating horses, and how to train them. When he was five, he already knew the barrel course like the back of his hand. The older he got, the more he learned, and the more successful he got.
When Oliver was seven years old, his second oldest brother killed himself, leaving the household a disaster. Oliver was in first grade at the time, and immediately became a problem in class. His oldest brother moved out within the next two years, but then moved back three years later, when the real deal went down. It turned out that his dad had been beating his mother, and it became a huge deal. Living in the house was him, two of his older sisters, and his oldest brother. His father went to jail and isn't supposed to leave jail until Oliver is well in his thirties. Oliver had his moments, but he tried to do his best. He put all of his negative energy and transformed it into his music, and working with horses. When he was ten, he picked up an acoustic guitar for the first time, and it just clicked. By the time he was sixteen, not only had he mastered the acoustic guitar, but also the electric guitar, the rhythm guitar, the bass and the drums. He could easily have his own band, although his ultimate passion lay with the horses. When he was seventeen, he witnessed the birth of Mojo, a little black colt, who was promised to him. Two years later, at nineteen, Fantasia was born, a gorgeous appaloosa filly, covered in little black dots. From the moment these two were born, he trained them to the best of his ability, and now shows them both.
Although Oliver's upbringing was far from a positive one, he did his best to learn every single day, and stay positive, and only pulled strength from every thing that goes wrong. At this time, his mother lives on the farm still with her new husband, running it, although to a smaller extent. His remaining brothers and sisters have all moved out and on with their lives.
