Essential Information
Appearance: Nevada is a short little thing, standing at a flat five feet. She is extremely thin, much like a toothpick. She's often been poked fun at for being nothing but skin and bones, but hey it's what high metabolism does to you. She naturally has dirty blond hair, but has tried a few times to dye it brown and has even debating bleaching it.. When it comes to looks, she greatly favors her late mother having big, expressive light blue eyes.
As for fashion wise, she's no barbie girl. You'll never see her dresses, heels, skirts or any of that super girly stuff. She's more accustomed to wearing jeans, skinny jeans, tennis shoes, and maybe the occasional pair of flip flops. Her hair is usually just plain straight, but it's actually naturally curly, to which she'll show off at times.
Personality: Nevada is anything but mean and hateful. A tomboy, yes, but hateful? Heck no. She's quite the humorous one and is always trying to get into someone's conversation, anything but reserved and timid. Fortunately, she's not a party goer.
She doesn't exactly favor learning too much, hence why she never went to college much to the disappointment of her family. She likes getting down and dirty and isn't afraid to break a nail, or get a little mud in her hair.
Overall, she's a girl who always tries to have a smile on her face. But she does have a stubborn side and when something is actually wrong, she'll most often than not try to hide it from the world. She doesn't like to be pitied, so complaining is the last thing on her to do list.
History: Unfortunately, Nevada never got the option to meet her mother. Her mother had a history of not carrying children to term and when she was pregnant with Nevada, she was kept under close watch. Fortunately, the woman did carry the baby to term, although it was at the risk of her own health.
When it came time for baby Nevada to be born, her father had to make the decision of whether to save his wife, or his first child. At her mother's insistence, they would save the baby girl much to the dismay of her father.
So, Nevada grew up with only one parent and it was a rather difficult life growing up, probably one of the reasons she ended up being quite the tomboy. While she was born in Ontario, Canada. The petty job that her father currently carried for the first five or so years wasn't enough to support himself and a baby girl, so he signed on with a oil company in the States, and from there they moved down to Michigan where Nevada would spend the majority of her life.
Without a mother figure, and never knowing what happened to her mother, the girl began to surround herself with all kinds of animals. It wasn't out of the ordinary for her to bring home some dirty wet kitten from heaven knows where only to have her father tell her that she couldn't keep it.
She didn't have friends for a good long while, that is until she met Frederick, or Freddie as she calls him. They were both awkward oddballs and it wasn't really that much of a wonder as to why they became fast friends. Unfortunately, yet again, when she graduated high school they went their separate ways and she has not seen her best friend since.
At the age of twenty-one she finally moved out of her father's house for she had grown tired of him constantly nagging her about not going to college. She had used her savings of allowance to buy herself a pony and had this unrealistic dream of becoming some champion horsewoman from winning horse shows. While she and the mare have won a few things, it isn't enough to exactly support a family, yet somehow she still finds herself wrapped up in the expensive living of California, amazingly managing to scratch up enough money to pay rent and feed herself and her "family" aka her dog and horse.
