The Spiritus species has been updated
Changes
- A 'Spiritus' is specifically the human who is bonded with a spirit animal/daemon
- A spirit animal is a individual on its own, they do not typically have to share anything in common with their Spiritus
- They may be of any species, and even the occasional mythical creature, however mythical creatures are rare and most think humans are not worthy of their protection. A Spiritus with a mythical creature requires admin approval
- Spirit animals may vanish into thin air and reappear at will, they are mortal but separate from your everyday animal
- Spirit animals are protectors of Spiritus
- Spirit animals talk telepathically to other individuals, they do not move their mouths to speak like people
- A spirit animal has it's own free will, but with it's agreement it may be contained in an object that is of dire importance to its Spiritus (ex: locket, bracelet, book, totem, etc.) From here, it may still communicate through a telepathic link with it's Spiritus
- If a Spiritus dies, their spirit animal has a limited amount of time to find another to bond with or else it will face a premature death
- It is a racial slur to call a spirit animal a 'demon' or a 'monster'. It causes great offense to a spirit animal to label them as such.
