San-Arq is Black, stands at 17'2hh and has Hazel eyes, he has two Identical scars on either side of his lower stomach where they used Spurs on him. He also has a scar on his left buttock where they whipped him so hard it drew blood. He has a standard length mane and tail, that goes a bit brown at the end. He has a few white hairs on his chin and a couple of other white hairs around his body. He also suffers from a little bit of mud rot... Where the mud is stuck to his skin and it's hard to remove. But with time that should disappear.
Personality:
San-Arq is quite a pushy, stocky lad. He isn't one for taking on new places or items in an arena. He is quite fresh and hot headed when being ridden, he is always skipping around nervously and wanting to just run. He is learning to control himself and to take orders since he isn't the alpha when he's ridden. In the pasture, he can tend to be quite viscous, and will kick, bite, rear and chase any others around. He can never be put out in a fly mask, he will freak out because he doesn't like anything covering his line of sight.
He likes: Jumping, Running, People, Carrots, Sugar, Sawdust. Mares. Sand. Woodland. Water
He Dislikes: Straw, Cold air, Fly Masks, Whips, Spurs, too much bit.
Fears: Whips, String, Hose Pipes.
Hopes: To win, to teach, To learn, to be more patient with the world.
Positive Traits: Trustworthy, Active, Forward and a good Listener.
Negative Traits: Hot-Headed, Testing, Hyper-Active and Experienced. Head-Strong
History:
Life for San-Arq was quite hard, he was born to the worlds best Dressage Stallion. Stolen from his mothers side, and ended up in a nasty little farm. Growing up for this horse was hard, he was set to pasture for months on end. Causing him to gain much weight, his feet to over grow and his main and tail to get caught and ripped out on anything rough or sharp he ran by. Only once every nine months would they socialise with him, groom him, put him in the sand school and chase him for hours on end with whips and kick him with their spurs.
He was abused and no one thought to even try and stop this disastrous thing from happening. He was never inside, the only shelter he had wasn't even big enough for his whole body. He ended up getting rain rot on his rump and mud rot all over his body, when someone found him and he was distressed and horrible looking. All matted and in need of rescuing, they called the animal welfare people who came out the next day and took him. He was returned to his mother Lady Grey and they lived together for a while.
Where he was cleaned up, and properly Shod and shaved. He was broken in and was able to be ridden without a whip or stick or anything that looked threatening, he was fresh around the jumps and would spook and run out whenever he could. After a few months they got him used to the jumps and started training him that whips where only a guide not an actual weapon. An indication if you will to speed up when he wasn't at his full potential.
When San-Arq was old enough (3) he was removed from her side and sent to the local race horse foundation, where he was rejected for not being the right breed, but was able to board with the racing horses. Only so that he could get a good trainer (Steeple Chase Trainer) to help out with his show Jumping career and hasty ways.
Now he takes part in shows, his current situation would mean, No Novices what so ever. His profession is Show Jumping which is why in some cases of anything where he can jump what ever's around he can be a bit Head-Strong and excited to get out and do some Jumping.
