He is smart tongued with a quick whit. Has more than enough money to throw around making bad choices. He has lived his young crazy years and not all of them are behind him. The maturity of a twenty seven year old with a lust of his old life. He is compassionate and a true gentleman, likely to hand over his jacket to keep you warm. He will open up the door for you and stand as you stand at the table. Don't like it, no problem. He will find someone who does. His loyalties lie with himself and as honest and friendly as he is, don't expect that to change.
He is incredibly passionate and honest with his feelings, he falls in love daily but will just as quickly fall out of it when something new comes along. He loves a challenge and learning new things. His need to control his life is balanced out nicely with his love of adrenaline. Race horses have always played a minor role in his life ( as an owner or part owner of many). He is looking to expand his knowledge of them here.
Plot wise, he is literally up for anything. As am I. Short of getting him killed toss any idea at me. I won't stray from his character but I am happy to have him grow as a character and change over time. He will be looking for people in the racing world to befriend and learn off. I imagine he won't be well liked by some, as he has bought his way into the world and has an arrogance air about it.
He is also getting back into the riding world and is in no way a natural experienced rider. His technique is more hold on and stay on. He has just purchased a three year old mare, so I am seeing a ton of plots their. Again I see people disliking him for being an arrogant idiot who can't ride and who has no idea on top of a three year old. Those who want to look past that will see that he is willing to learn. He won't be bothered by the talk, he is here to enjoy himself, with or without anyones help.
He is easy going and happy to go with the flow, use him because he is pretty, use him to mock or be genuinely nice. He has a habit of treating everyone the same. Something about being arrogantly above all that. You will get under his skin however if you are a bad parent, have children you don't care about, if you joke about unsafe sex blah blah blah. Sensitive spot for poor little Chase.

Well. I think he and Liam should meet. He's the owner of Rose Park Stables - the racing barn here so there's that and then there's the fact that Liam is very introverted, but is a genuinely nice guy. He doesn't take crap though so it would be interesting to see them be friends or whatevs.

It sounds like Liam and Chase are polar opposites in some regards. Liam sounds like he works very hard to get where he is, Chase would rather buy his way in. Chase is very open with his emotions and wears them on his sleeve at times, Liam is more reserved about them. I would love to see how they play out in a thread or two. At the very least Chase is going to want to know Liam and pick his brain at every available moment. He may not ever say it ( he would assume that it would be a given ) but he would be in awe of Liam and his knowledge.
Edit* I can see Chase wanting to take Liam out for a drink in thanks for accepting his horse ( he is a friendly guy ok ). Not sure if that opens up a more interesting ideas for a thread?

@missparadox, SO I JUST GOT THIS GRAND IDEANo, seriously I did. Okay, so Chase and Sienna in their current thread are just having a jolly good time. Chase's mare already ran off to heaven knows where, and now Sienna's horse just wandered off as well, probably interested in finding Chase's mare. But get this, Sienna's stallion is getting up there in age (15, whatev) so what if... what if at some point her stallion breeds to Chase's mare? BUT the idea does not end there. Let's say Light ends up getting sick or a bad injury at some point and ends up passing away. Chase doesn't learn his mare is in foal until well, if he isn't all THAT horse savvy he could just think his mare is getting very overweight. Besides the point, Sienna would be just about heartbroken to have lost her good friend in Light.. Now, still following me? x'D The foal is born Chase is surprised because well, how did THAT happen, then he could possibly remember that the only stallion that his mare has run around with rather freely would have been Sienna's horse, at the lake. What IF he told Sienna this and offered to give her the foal at a later point? That could be a chance for Chase and Sienna to bond and  J ust a thought xD

RENDEZVOUS I HAD THE SAME THOUGHT!I was reading your reply and my mind wondered to the same place, minus the death and all that of course!! There is no way in the world Chase is going to assume she is pregnant. The fact she is young and this is her first foal will most likely keep her small for awhile anyways. I do think by the ninth / tenth month he will be getting suspicious and will call out a vet just to er on the side of caution. He is likely to immediately think of the foal as hers, or at the very least part hers. Maybe she will want to distance herself from the whole idea at the beginning? The wound is too fresh and all that. THEN the foal is born and it's born early and not in a good way. Sienna is the one who happens to come across it and can't get onto Chase so she has to stay and be responsible. Then he comes and they have this adorable bonding freaking out moment, and in the weeks that follow. ( I am freaking out at the cuteness level! )
Sienne may have inner turmoil because she doesn't want to see another horse die, especially not one of Lights? Chase would understand that but tell her that they both need her. Cue nights crying in the stable and bonding with the foal annd Chase stumbling on them and comforting her. Foal pulls through and Chase hands it over to her free of all medical costs and with a years worth of boarding and care paid for. Because he is funny like that when it comes to money. He wouldn't say anything about it, but everything would be paid for.

I seem to always find a way to add a dramatic effect to certain things. Poor Chase won't notice much until way later, I almost feel sorry for him. I mean, isn't she his first horse too? Oh, yes I can see Sienna getting a bit upset (maybe even offended actually) if Chase were to bring up the idea regarding giving the foal to her. She would probably say something along the lines of how no horse could replace Light.
Fast forward to when the foal is born earlier than expected. She could probably wander back into the barn to reminisce about when she came there to cater to Light. But lo and behold, she arrives in time to catch the day of the foaling. She wouldn't to have anything to do with it, but maybe it could be very late at night and Chase is sleep, so he wouldn't answer his phone?
(Sorry for this long reply omg) The foal is sickly, and perhaps after Chase learns of the foaling they could call a vet and have them say that its chance of survival are highly unlikely. Omg, that would break Sienna's heart she would just sit there for nights crying over this foal and hoping that by some chance it would survive. When it pulls through, then she will accept Chase's offer and then major bonding points for Chase and Sienna and gaahhhhhhh

RENDEZVOUSYes! That would honestly send Chase reeling, because he would never have considered it from that point of view. I actually think he might be a little bit defensive about it " Well of course that isn't what I meant." He isn't one to baby anyone or feel sorry for himself xD So I see them having a cute passive aggressive disagreement. Chase has had horses all his life, but hasn't really owned them since his pony club days. He has been in lessons and competitions for awhile now. But this is his first go and it alone with no groom to help him. So yes feel sorry for him. Or not because he is so laid back things have a way of just working out around him. Chase hardly ever sleeps at night, little quirk of his. He conducts business at strange hours to correspond with the countries in Asia and Australia. Nights are usually spent in a meeting or in a strangers bed. I am leaning towards the latter. The girl could even drop him off at the barn and want to come and see " the cute little baby horse". Chase of course would send her home once he realised the severity of the situation, but I see him feigning ignorance to the insensitivity of the whole thing. I see him being all ruffled, his hair a mess, shoes without socks, she could even give him his tie back or underwear or something equally risqué. I am not sure how Sienna would react, but Chase would be very blasé about it, he wouldn't rise to the strangers attempt to lure him back or Sienna's reaction. He would be 100% focused on the mare and foal. I have this moment in my head where usually emotionally distant Chase comforts Sienna. Ahhhh I want him to find her away from the foal, in a place that she had gone to be alone. because that means he actually went out of his way to care, he would genuinely be upset for her. He would have to admit that to her I think, he is always bluntly honest and wouldn't hide the truth if he was asked. I swear this is longer than some posts I write.
