She takes absolutely no crap from anyone, and is a complete fire cracker. She's sarcastic, a tad vulgar, and makes enough baudy jokes to keep up with any man. The brunette is a very proud individual and if you diminish her in any way you will have a fight on your hands- and she's a scrappy little fighter. She has no qualms with getting up in someone's face if they piss her off in anyway. Despite her loud, extremely fiesty personality, she really is a sweetheart beneath her hard core exterior. While she's not completely 'all talk' most of it really is, and as long as you don't discount her as a pretty little fae who wouldn't harm a fly, she won't give you any trouble. She loves the outdoors, adores hiking, horse riding, swimming, you name it. If she's not on her deck reading, she's off probably climbing a tree or briskly walking through the bush somewhere. Tasmin is loud and eager to express her opinion, but she has tact, and knows when to hold her tongue. Past her exterior personality, and you'll find a happy go lucky, excitable and bubbly young women, although still rather brash. She's quick to become attached to people, and is really cuddly and touchy feely once she knows you won't judge her. Tasmin does not forgive those who break her trust, and can jump to rash conclusions due to her insecurities. The brunette is ambitious and playful, forward thinking and impetuous. She is also head strong and has a soft spot for people in need- people who need help make her act selflessly. Reference: one History Tasmin, also known as Taz or Tazzy by her friends, was born in a well to do household in Sonoma County, California. Whilst her parents weren't particularly wealthy, Tasmin's Scottish grandparents were very well off, and doted heavily on their only grandchild. Through them, Tasmin learnt Gaelic by the time she was twelve, and her Scottish ancestory is a prominent part of Tasmin's identity. Tasmin's grandparents were both avid horse riders, and when she showed interest and talent after attending lessons for a year, they purchased her first pony. While it was true she usually wanted for nothing, she wasn't privileged or spoilt, and spent many hours every week cleaning stalls, shovelling horse crap, oiling leather for the stable where she boarded, that her grand parents owned. Tasmin always had a strong personality and disliked being put in a box purely because she was a girl and extremely petite. Despite her small frame, she was more then able, and willing, to keep up with the boys in things like running, boxing and just general physical sports when she attended school. She adored rough housing, and generally had more male friends then female, although the occasional girl did enjoy her company. Because of her largely male friends, it didn't even occur to her till she was fifteen that perhaps it was a little odd that she shared her best friends crushes- Amber, with the blonde hair, Chelsea, the brunette with awesome legs. She wasn't at all naive or sheltered, but she spent her spare time with horses, her grand parents, or mucking about with the lads. The fact that she was lesbian wasn't given a thought until she widened her circle and become friends with some female equestrians. She never hid where her interest went during high school, and although there were whispers of dyke and the like, she was largely accepted. Her openness meant other budding lesbians, bisexuals and simply curious young women came to her for guidance and experimentation. She came out to her family at sixteen and although the process was at the beginning awkward and fumbling, they quickly understood that Tasmin was same old Tasmin, and there was no point in stumbling around her just because of her sexuality. Tasmin loved the outdoors. The first day she got her pony, an adorable Arab cross called Benji, her, her Gramma, and her Pappy went on a trail ride. From then, she was hooked, attending endurance rides as often as she was allowed. When one of her close friends took her tramping, she discovered her passion for just walking in the bush, for miles and miles. Someone introduced her to hunting, both the gun and horse form, and needless to say she enjoyed both. So, when it came to deciding her career, it seemed natural that she wanted to spread her love of the outdoors with others, and thus became and landscaper. She was fortunate enough to have her grand parents largely paying for her education, although she did sell her project ponies to help cover the costs. At twenty, Tasmin had her first official customer, and thus her business was born. By twenty two the brunette had managed to establish a name for herself and was in high demand. She was paying rent for a little property on her grandparents land, and still boarding several ponies there, all of which she was backing, training and selling on. At five foot and ridiculously light, Tasmin never felt the urge to move into horses. It was then that she met her first serious girlfriend, Rosie. The couple dated for a year until Tasmin's Grammy fell terribly ill and passed away. The strain on their relationship was too much, and Tasmin put work aside to care full time for her ailing grandfather and take over barn manager responsibilities. Two months later, he too passed away. Tasmin was awfully close to her grandparents, much closer then she was to her parents in fact, and their loss struck her hard. It was a difficult time for Tasmin as she warred with herself over selling their beloved property. She stuck it out for another year, taking on employees to work as managers in her stead as she went back to landscaping. Living in their home, their sanctuary without them was torture. They had left her the barn, and over half their wealth. So at 24, Tasmin was very financially stable, single, and yet she was weighed down with grief and claustrophobic living in a house where the people she loved dearest had passed away. At 24, therefore, she made the decision to sell the property and all ponies bar two and move into an apartment in the city, boarding her stallion Puck, and mare Beri, out of town. It had been her mothers doing. Tasmin had wanted to truly uproot and find somewhere new but her mother had insisted she wait till she was 25, till her sadness had lessened slightly, till she was more "rational. " Her parents threw her a big party, and Tasmin packed up and left the week after. She heard good things about Aurora, but she'd just have to wait and see. | [attr="class","sigh"]shifter [attr="class","sigh"]female [attr="class","sigh"]25 [attr="class","sigh"]lesbian [attr="class","sigh"]slight [attr="class","sigh"]5'0 [attr="class","sigh"]brunette [attr="class","sigh"]blue [attr="class","sigh"]landscaper [attr="class","fall"] Kolfinna Kristofersdottir - tasmin perry |
