[presto] MALE NINETEEN 14 MAR 96 HETERO MANIPULATOR UNEMPLOYED FACE CLAIM: Colton Haynes [/presto] LEVI RICHARD ARCHER APPEARANCE You wouldn't exactly say that Levi is imposing. He stands at 5'10", which isn't exactly short, but sure isn't tall. He is thin from living on his own, but muscular do to the strain his body has to go though. It's obvious he's strong and his lean body is built for agility. He is incredibly fast and can easily out run anyone through an alley or across rooftops. Levi has pale skin and dark brown hair that he likes to keep short. Thick eye brows constantly seem to be knit together in a way that they shouldn't be in such a young man. His face is very angular and a thick strong jaw squares him off and makes him look rather manly. His eyes are a pale green that are much softer than his rougher exterior. His body is covered in scars from fights and beatings he's taken over the years. One particular scar on his stomach was from getting stabbed once while pulling a guy off a woman outside a bar. Hygiene is not a high priority of his and his face and clothes are almost always dirty. PERSONALITY Character's personality goes here. HISTORY Levi Richard Archer was born on a stormy night in the middle of March to Marcus Leopold Archer and Casey Anne Archer. Marc was a doctor working on his residency in Lowell, Massachusetts. Casey had been a kindergarten teacher, but when Levi was born she quit to be a stay at home mom. Those early years were great, living in their small house just outside of town. Even though his father worked long, insane hours, his parents were so in love. When Levi turned three, his little sister Lila Anne was born, and the little family seemed so complete. School was great. Levi made friends with every and everyone was friends with him. The teachers always sat him next to the troublesome kids. Somehow, they always calmed down whenever he was around them. He was getting ready to start kindergarten when his father broke the news. His residency was done and he had been offered a job all the way on the other side of the country. So they packed up their little lives, the doctor, his very pregnant wife, and two small children, and moved to Lakeside, California. Levi adjusted quickly and they were barely unpacked when his twin sisters were born, Jane Orianna and Joan Olivia. His fathers hours were better and his mother began shuffling him back and forth to sports practices and piano lessons. It was perfect. His life, his family, his friends, everything. He couldn't ask for more. But perfection is fleeting and his vanished on a September night when he was eight. It was horrible pain that woke him. Pain and fear. Like nothing he had felt before. Levi went to his parents bedroom, but their door was locked. Perhaps a glass of water? Something, anything to stop the fear and the pain. But what laid out the kitchen window was even scarier than this fear gripping him. Fire. Like nothing he had ever seen before. He was suddenly grabbed, lifted up and dropped outside by his father. The man grabbed him by the shoulders and looked him in the eye. "Stay here. Stay here and don't come in the house. No matter what happens, do not come inside." They were the last words his father said to his face. But they weren't the last ones Levi would hear. He felt it. When his father vanished inside and found his mother and sisters. The fear when they realized the fire was surrounding them. His fathers rage and desperation to get his family to safety. The pain when the fire began to run up their bodies. And finally, the great abysmal nothing. It was excruciating the combined pain and suffering of the ones he cared about the most. He was curled up in a ball on the curb screaming when a fireman grabbed him and drove him to safety. Levi spent the next ten years in and out of foster homes. Eventually winding up with a particularly cruel family in Los Angeles. He ran away the day before his eighteenth birthday and never looked back. He's been living on the streets. Helping people who really need it with his abilities and protecting those in trouble. He's taken some serious beatings, but he's dealt quite a few himself. He's smarter and faster than a lot of the petty criminals in the back alleys of LA. His time on the streets has taught him how to move faster through alleys and around urban areas than pretty much anyone else. He's not exactly a vigilante. But if some lowlife is holding down a woman and is cutting open her jeans with a knife, he's going to step it. Ever since that night, the night of the fire, Levi has felt things. Not his own feelings, but those of the people around him. It was agonizing, being close to others. He could feel everything they felt. Emotionally and physically. It was months before he was able to stand going into more densely populated areas. And years before he could deal with physical contact with another person. When he touched someone, he would instantly take on all their pain. Over the years he learned to control this. To stem the flow of energy from others to himself. But he could never entirely turn it off. He still feels everything that everyone feels around him. He's just learned how to control it to the point where it doesn't overwhelm him. template by Margie @ Adoxography 2.0

[presto] MARE 3 SUMMER HETERO HORSE 3 DAY EVENTER FACE CLAIM: Sato [/presto] DONA NOBIS PACEM APPEARANCE The delicate mare has a very typical thoroughbred build. Her long neck and high withers are a hallmark of the breed. Matched with her deep chest and long, strong legs, she's built like a machine. Standing tall at 16.3 hh, she often finds herself looking down on humans and horses alike. Donna is painted in a mix of bright gold and white splashed across her body in a sabino pattern. Eyes are a doe brown, delicate and always flicking about. Pale pink muzzle is soft to the touch and constantly shuffling about. Her mane and tail are the color of straw and mid length, both incredibly soft and silky. She has no brands to speak of, but there is a small underneath her mane where a yearling colt bit her in the pasture. It rarely shows since it's most often covered, but when her mane is braided it's visible if you get close enough. PERSONALITY Donna is definitely the biggest dork in the stable. She is constantly getting her hooves/tail/head stuck in just about anywhere you could imagine, and then some places you wouldn't. She knows how to do things right, and has some of the best ground manners you will ever see in a horse, but she is a huge clutz. Part of this comes from her intense fascination with everything edible. If you have a treat, she will know, and she will get it. Donna is particularly partial to stale bread, and if you treat her with it, you will have a new best friend. Due to her love of the edible, she can be a bit mouthy, and while she will never bite skin, clothing, tools, and anything within reach will be chewed or lovingly mouthed. Another reason for her constant entrapment is her love of felines. Barn cats are often found within her stall and she will gladly follow them around, even places she cannot fit. Loud sirens are this mares downfall. Ambulances, police sirens, tornado sirens and anything that sounds like them send her into a frenzy. She will prance and bounce and try to get away until she is foaming and eventually will drop her head in a corner until the sounds stops. Her interactions with other horses are difficult. Donna desperately wants to be a part of the herd, but she doesn't exactly know how. As such she is often ostracized by the other horses. Overall, she is exceedingly sweet, but not entirely bright. That being said, she loves to work, and will throw her heart into it. She can be a bit over zealous though, and needs a firm hand to hold her back. HISTORY Born on a large thoroughbred breeding farm upstate, Donna was destined for the show ring. Her mother is a decent dressage horse turned career broodmare, while her father did well for himself in the show jumping ring. There were plenty of other mares and foals for the filly to interact with, and the long days out to pasture with her mother were ones that she thoroughly enjoyed. Even though she had lots of other horses to be around, Donna never quite got over her awkwardness. More often than not, she would try to play with the other foals and they would gang up on her. If it weren't for her mother, she would have quite a few more scars. When the young mare turned a year old, her mother was heavy with another foal and she was pulled from her. It was a traumatic experience, but Donna didn't think on it long. She was released with the other yearlings and was instantly singled out. The first night was a nightmare. She was chased and nipped for hours. One dark colt managed to get a hard bite on her neck and it was then that Donna made a mad flying leap over the pasture gate and hid in the stable courtyard until the grooms found her in the morning. Due to her social awkwardness, she was sent to a stable in LA for training. That is how she wound up here. She's lived here training ever since then and has shown remarkable promise. Since Donna can't exactly make friends with the other horses, she decided to make the barn cats and the humans a part of her herd. template by Margie @ Adoxography 2.0
