Basics Species: Tiger Spiritus Distinguishing Characteristics: Unlike ninety percent of her family, Mia was not blessed with the spirit of a tigeress, or in the case of her older sister, a lioness. Instead her tiger counterpart was formed outside of her essence, thus forming a 'daemon' in other words a spiritus that contains a half of both her soul and spirit. Her spiritus bond takes on the form of a golden Tigress of normal size, with unique white markings and blue eyes, much like her cousin Connor's tiger form. The tigress' calls herself "Kora" and would like to be called as such. Personality: Mia is a feisty, energetic young soul and it is clear that she enjoys life and all those within it. She is a bit of a rebel and enjoys sticking her nose in all kinds of trouble, much to the annoyance of her oldest brother. She is the youngest Currington after Zacharie, who was killed by Justin Miller. She does everything that most teenagers her age tend to do, although she is of course, a bit of a dare devil. She is not jealous of the fact that her siblings are shifters, and her counterpart was born into such a fragile state as a companion. She enjoys hunting, and her favorite colors are camoflauge. She is often seen begging her brother to take her hunting with him, and she certainly doesn't shed any tears over shooting Bambi. At times, she does things just for the sake of setting Kyle on a limb, in high hopes that maybe he'll shit himself and gain a couple of gray hairs. She is the princess of procrastination and isn't exactly a A student. She has a 'I'll do it later' mind set, but is forgetful and tends to never do it. As for her spirit companion, Kora is such as rebellious as her human companion. She has a nasty attitude and is quite over protective over Mia. She has a sharp tongue and won't hesitate to curse one out. She is a bitch, so to speak. She doesn't like being called 'kitty' 'kitty cat' or heaven forbid 'pussy', she'll scalp you, not even kidding. Kora doesn't feel jealous either of shifters, in fact she is quite content with the fact that both she and Mia share two different bodies for they are able to speak to one another one and one, and are capable of thinking separately. Although the pair have never come to realize that they are both connected soul and spirit, and if one were to happen to the other...the one who remained would fall to death as well. History No Currington will ever forget when Mia was born. She came into the world much earlier than the rest of her siblings and luckily her mother had decided to have her at home for the baby harvested a secret. For the first time in Currington history, for they have a gene that causes most of them to be born as Tiger shifters, or in the case of very few, lion shifters. Now, with the birth of Mia, soon after she was born, a tiny golden and white striped thing formed alongside her, it was a Tiger cub. Her parents had looked at each other in awe, they had never seen this before. Instead of being born a shifter, a human whose animal counterpart had bonded with them in near perfect harmony, Mia's animal counterpart had been born outside of her, harboring a portion of her soul and spirit. The parents had to take extra care with their child, for they knew the two would not be able to always be together. They would watch as the pair learned to walk and talk over the years, learning as one. When it came time for the young girl to start school, they would have to separate the pair, and one should know that separating a Spiritus pair would cause anxiety and at times upset for both of the pairs. This couldn't be more true for once Mia started school, of course she came down with such bad anxiety that her parents volunteered to get her on prescribed medication in order to calm her down, but it only helped slightly. Meanwhile, at home they were faced with putting up with a raging Tigress that was Kora for the beast simply did not want to be away from her 'other half' They were like bonded sisters in a sense, and could not stand to be away from the other as with a true Spiritus, it was quite painful.
