I stretched my hands to the sky we danced with monsters through the night
It was bright this morning. Sun seeped through the glass panes the lined his bedroom wall, the familiar sound of peace and serenity following the sounds of bird singing their song to the blue sky. It was a normal morning, of course, but it was a bright one. The dogs poked their way into his room, pushing open his doors. Guess the dogs want food.. The thought echoed through his mind, brown eyes looking at the figures in the slightly lightened room that jogged their way to his bed. Ginger was the first to jump onto his bed, her big paws squishing themselves against his face, her tongue rasping over his face. A snort left his nose before letting out a chuckle and pushing her off. "I get it, I get it. I gotta get my own breakfast too y'know." He murmured to his two dogs. The dark colored Tibetan Mastiff jumped to the floor before releasing a few barks when a little nose nudged at her leg. A little adolescent dog stood next to the big canine, her chest puffed out as she released a few barks of her own. "Baimunda, please. I'm getting up.." He mumbled before rising, a hand running over his face before heading to the bathroom.
Ginger looked down at the growing pup before nuzzling her cheek, a snort leaving her nose, blowing through the black fur. A giggle left the pup before she growled at her playfully. "Just wait 'till I get you!" Baimunda declared before charging after the large female. Thunder released a sigh, glancing at the pair pushing the doors open and bounding further into the house. He padded after his owner, tail lazy swinging behind his flanks. Nosing his way through the door, he sat next to them, looking up at the man intently. Feline glanced down from brushing his teeth, spitting out the residue of the paste into the sink and reaching down to pet his canine's lean head. "Aye boy, you're the top dog around here aren't you?" He mumbled before offering a grin as the male's tail swished against the ground gratefully. Walking out of the room with the dog in tow, he headed downstairs to fill the dog's bowls up. "Alright, there you go guys. Don't go too crazy.." He glanced to the two females who waited intently before going upstairs to put on some clothes.
Slipping a button-up shirt on and some jeans he went back down to grab a quick cup of coffee. He sipped the dark liquid contently, a blissful sigh leaving him. He went to the front door to grab his shoes and slipped them on, grabbing his dog's leashes as well who were busy scarfing down their breakfast. Clipping them to their collars, he grabbed his cup of coffee and headed for the door. Luckily, it was his day off today, and he didn't have to go back to that dreadful hospital. Piling the three canines into his truck and placing his cup in the cupholder, he buckled his seat belt on and drove out for the day. It was quiet this morning, kids playing in their lawns, clouds strung across the sky, fluffy figures against a sea of blue.
~
He slowly climbed out of the car, a hand slicking his hair back before glancing to his dogs. He slowly reached in to grab Baimunda's leash, but unfortunately she slipped right through his grasp and she charged out to the smell of food that tickled her nose. A groan left him before slamming the car door shut and chasing after her. "Baimunda!" He called to the pup, who had found herself a person to run into. "Oi... i'm so sorry to disturb you miss, I hope she didn't hurt you..." He apologized before gripping on the adolescent's leash.

❝ I Touched the Clouds ❞ It had been a month since she had been released from the hospital. They had instructed her to stay at home, to get some rest, but she found that she wasn't able to do that. She didn't want to, it was as if the walls were closing in on her, the shadows wanting to pull her into their clutches.
So, she had left her home with the idea of getting a bite to eat, even though her stomach thought otherwise. Regardless, she wanted to be anywhere but home. She felt alone, but isn't that what she wanted? To be away from people? Of course, any fool would know that every person needed to socialize with one of their own kind or face going insane, much to Sienna's dismay.
She had been sitting at the little table outside the deli since early that morning. Had it always been so cold outside? The chill of the wind made her shudder and pull her jacket closer around her dainty frame. Her eyes foretold that she had lost sleep, lost time, los-.. Her train of thought, or rather rant of despair, was broken by the sound of nails clicking against the pavement.
With a startled glance she looked over to see a canine running in her direction, with a burly man lumbering behind her rather awkwardly (at least in her eyes). She tensed, looking just about ready to flee, but time moved much too fast as the dog ran into her, or rather the chair she had been sitting in. The fragile chair tipped, along with her in it causing her to to fall face first into the pavement.
It happened so fast that she hadn't really registered anything as she pulled herself to her feet, turning with trembling fingers to set the chair back upright and regain her seat. She was oblivious to the tiny trickle of blood from one of her nostrils. "O-oh it's fine." She stammered as she looked at the man, not really feeling the need to fear him for truly women were the ones you had to watch out for, they were the devil incarnated, well not all, but most of them.
The scene seemed to swerve a bit for a moment, clearly her imagination, right? "Y-you don't have to leave so q-quickly." She stammered, the spinning making her think that the man and dog were walking away, which of course they probably weren't in this case. The blond shook her head slowly, but it only seemed to aggravate the moving scene. "Your dog is very p-pretty." She commented, blinking a few times until the scene finally stopped spinning, much to her relief. "I-I'm Sienna, but that doesn't really matter." No one cares anyway. She thought to herself, she herself deciding to fiddle absentmindedlywith a loose thread on her jeans, as if that would pull her from her problems.

I stretched my hands to the sky we danced with monsters through the night Feline watched as the young dog had knocked over a chair, holding a dainty and feminine woman. His eyes widened slightly with worry, rushing over to get a hold of his riled-up pup. He huffed at glared at the canine as she simply smiled up at him. "Bad dog." He said sternly before walking forward to peek over at the fallen female. Tying the leash to the table for the moment, he looked as her facial features had been stuffed into the concrete. He watched as she got up, as if nothing had happened and put the chair upright once more. His eyebrows curved upwards with concern. "O-Oh it's fine." She slipped over her own words, making him take a small step forward.
His brown gaze shifted to the crimson blood sliding down from her nose. "I-I'm so sorry for her... urhm..." He watched as she had some sort of uneasiness in her eyes. Did she have a concussion? Was she alright? Of course she wasn't, she was bleeding... what was he supposed to do? Was he supposed to wipe the blood off? With what? "Y-You don't have to leave so q-quickly." His head tilted to the side slightly before his arm reached forward to grip her shoulder gently. "Miss, i'm right here." He reassured before she shook her head. "Your dog is very p-pretty." Slowly his hand slipped from her frame and he nodded with a slight grin. With a nod of approval, "Thank you, she's very happy to hear that. Ain't that right, Baimunda?" He looked to the dog, who was sitting down and busy picking some grain out of her fur.
His hand once more reached up to wipe the blood away carefully with his thumb. "Uh.... s-sorry... you had some blood coming from your nose." He apologized, not wanting to come off as impolite. "I-I'm Sienna, but that doesn't really matter." She seemed to of gotten a grip on herself once more before he dismissed her doubts. "Ah, it matters to me. It's a pleasure to meet you, Sienna. I'm Feilyn." He stated before sticking out his hand for her to shake. "Would you like me to get a water or something Maybe something to eat? I'd like to repay you for my disobedient dog. She's a.. free spirit I guess." He apologized with a sheepish grin, rubbing the back of his neck with slightly embarrassment. Way to start off the morning, right?

❝ I Touched The Clouds ❞ Her mind was so fuzzled as of late, she didn't even know if she wanted to keep company with other people. Who was this man? Would he try to hurt her? His dog seemed overly friendly, so maybe that was an indicator as to whether or not he was okay to be around. "I-It's okay. Dogs will be d-dogs, right?" She asked, although she had no dog of her own. Actually, she had never considered any kind of pets. It would have proved to be great therapy for her, mentally anyways.
She was oblivious to the trickle of blood from her nose, although the top of her lip did seem quite itchy all of a sudden. "B-b-baimunda. That's a u-unique name." She wanted to slap herself for stammering so much, she wished she could stop. It made it seem as though she had some sort of speech impediment, but she wasn't stupid, she really wasn't. Or was she just telling herself that to make her own sorry hide feel better?
At the lightest feeling of the man's touch, she tensed immediately, wincing practically as though expecting the man to hit her. But the familiar notion of pain did not follow, and she opened her eyes, looking quite confused. "B-blood?" She echoed, before self-conciously touching her face with her hands, "Oh my goodness, I'm s-sorry." Her face instantly took on a shade of red as she fumbled in her pockets for a napkin of sorts.
Finally finding a small napkin in her pocket, she dabbed at her nose gently, of course turning away quickly. It looked as though the bleeding had stopped, how clumsy of her not to realize her current state, however. Balling up the napkin in one hand, she looked to the man, a look of shyness settling into her features. "F-feilyn. Thanks for the uh...yeah. This is..rather..e-embarassing. I probably seem g-gross now." She stated, she was so down, one could almost imagine the little storm cloud raining down on her every moment of the day.
Hearing his offer to repay for his dog's actions, she waved her hands in dismissal rather quickly. "Oh no, no that's okay! I s-should have moved out of her w-way." As usual, she tried to make up an excuse as to why things happened the way did and place the blame on herself. "I-isn't that right Baimunda?" She spoke quietly, looking towards the large dog, a smile forming on her features, because weren't animals more willing to upset you than people? Either way, that was how Sienna felt towards society. ❝ will it be alright?❞ @feilyn| 459 words | muse: xbam
