It's okay
Tears fall several times in life
Then will someone tell me that it’s okay to cry?
Then will someone tell me that it’s okay to cry?
[attr="class","itokaytext"]Her world revolved around nothing. She had no emotion, no feeling, no pain, no happiness. It was all so numb. She couldn't feel the chips inside of her as the person she once was was slowly disintegrating. She couldn't find herself. She had been long lost in the forest alone by herself with nobody else. The feeling of warmth had been lost to her now. All of the pain, all of their hardships, she couldn't feel, she couldn't see. She didn't see a struggle for she had long died in the ocean while drowning. The will to live was still there, but not strong enough to bring back to life. She was a ticking time bomb and if this went on any longer she would lose her sanity. Lose all that she held dear. She could feel her family slipping from her grasp, just grazing by her finger tips. She couldn't hold on to them for much longer. She had to fix herself. But how can you fix a broken mirror if you can't find all of the missing pieces?
She acknowledged Emmett's presence. She knew of the affection he was trying to give her, but she knew not of how hard he was trying. Because he wasn't. She could tell he had long given up, the dull ache in his gaze, the way his smile was so empty. She wanted to help him. Her true self tried to reach out to him among the waves and save him from her fate, but she couldn't reach him. He was drifting. He was losing himself just as she was. She didn't want to drag him down. She no longer felt love, but if she felt any sort of emotion it would be towards Emmett. She had engraved her loyalty to him after everything that had happened, of how much he cared for her, how long he stuck around. But time was running out. When would enough be enough? When would he just up and leave her with just her two little children to fend for themselves? How long would it be... until he left her heart broken in pieces. Her world was empty space and no one heard you when you drifted among the stars. Her stars were dark instead of light, she was living among white noise. She saw in static, in black and white, there was no whole puzzle; the pieces had long gone missing. She couldn't find hope nor faith among her horizons of shadows. She couldn't bother Emmett with her problems when she couldn't tell it to him while he suffered. He was starting to drown... his boat had crashed into the rock of depression and there was no helicopters or life-guards coming to save them. They were alone. Drifting among the sea, they floated as they tried to swim. Death swam around them, trying to drag them down into the deep abyss. Would they ever find safety?... If she couldn't, she'd have to save him... she was already such a lost cause. This was all her fault. She hated how she couldn't feel guilt or remorse for any of this. She hated it all. She hated herself. She hated the life she dragged Emmett into when there was so much of the world he could see... So much happiness that could be held... if she wasn't dragging him down...
Madelynn wasn't in much better shape than her. She was starving, without Andrew she could tell that she was lost. When she had given her baby to her she could see it. In the eyes she saw the dull hopelessness that coated her gaze. If Madelynn wasn't going to save herself, then she was. She got into her car and drove away. She had contemplated this after Andrew had disappeared and she knew Madelynn would take a turn for the worst... like she did. She had to get to her.. what if it was too late? What if she had died? What if she had... killed herself? The thoughts made her drive faster. Loyalty for her friends was something that stuck through and through, and she felt the need to get to her. It made her stomach churn uneasily at the thought that her friend was dead. She gripped the steering wheel harder, her palms sweating. Her eyebrows knit together in almost a confused manner. Why was she so nervous again?

The house was dark inside, the setting sun contrasted sharply to its shadows. She peered to the door way and slowly closed her car door. Walking up, she checked the door knob to find that it was unlocked. The uneasy churn in her stomach returned and she entered the house, closing the door behind her. She looked all through the rooms she thought Madelynn might of been. However she slowly entered the bedroom, seeing her body there, but she was unsure whether it was moving or not in this darkness. "Madelynn?" She called her name through the shadows as she tried not to see the worst.
