Day at a new job. Yea why not? Hopefully this will go well. The thoughts that ran through her mind. Yes she has that party life deep within her mind but she needed the money to even be able to have this party life. Taking in a deep breath of relaxing air before she walked forwards into her new job. Opening the door and hearing the sounds of the dogs barking loudly. Eyes looking around before she walked through a open door into the dog kennels. Looking around with a smile as she loved the sight of all these beautiful creatures.
Kneeling down as she looked through the chain linked gate. Giving a soft smile as she placed her hand upon the cage. Allowing the pretty mutt to sniff upon her hand. An then she got up and looked around for a moment and peeked at the supplies she had to take care of the dogs and grabbed a rope leash that was dangling. Turning and walking back towards where she had allowed the dog to sniff her hand. Taking the gate and slowly opening it and letting the leash loop around his neck and with a smile she turned and started him towards the bathing station.
"Come on big man. Let's get you cleaned up." She said with a smirk upon her face before lifting him up and into the sink. Clicking him to the side of the tub and grabbing some shampoo and a towel and placing them close to the edge before looking back to him and giving him a cookie that she had hidden within her pocket. "That's a good boy." She said with a wide smile as she turned the water on and tested it off and on to make sure that the water was warm.
Once it was warm enough she started to spray him down. Scrubbing his fur to get it all spiked up and then taking the shampoo and pouring it along his back and then into her hand. Scrubbing the shampoo into his legs first and working into the rest of his body. Once finished she began to spray him off and then turned the water off. Reaching out for the towel and all of a sudden he began to shake.
Making a giggle come from her lips as she put her hands up while the dog shook. Finally she was able to get the towel around him and started to scrub him good and dry. Then picked him up and put him on the ground and smile as she could see that he seemed such a happier dog after a good bathing. Turning and taking him back to his kennel. Giving him one more treat and then putting him into the gate and shutting it after taking the leash off. Smiling as she turned and went back to the bath tub. Kind of wondering where everyone was at and even if anyone was going to come in to see all the cute dogs that were in this shelter. Yes, there were cats but she did not handle that part. Plus cats just never have taken to her which never really bothered her.
