CANONS LIST RULES
[attr="class","box"]What the heck is a site canon? It's a character that is essential to a large plot, a wanted ad for the site in a sense. We have plenty of canons for you to choose from, we just have a few rules for you to follow.
- Only three site canons can be taken by any one member, the fourth must be approved by a admin.
- A site canon must be posted at least once a week. Any site canon that is inactive, an a away thread has not been posted by the player, they will be considered open for someone else to take
- To receive a canon, PM either RENDEZVOUS, SPARROW or red <3 detailing why you want that particular canon. Upon receiving the canon, please precede to creating their application
- If more than one person is interested in the same canon, an audition will take place and the winner will play the canon

Carter Campbell
Male ▣ 40s-50s ▣ Hunters/President ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Mark Pellegrino
Species: Human
He is the son of the now deceased founder of the HOSC. Just like his father, Carter prides himself on governing its followers with an iron fist. He is masochistic, taking pleasure in the pain of others and doesn't hesitate to take the lives of others to get what he wants, if it brings him closer to his goal, who gives a damn? Carter's sense of humor is well, things that normal people don't usually find amusing. It is the fuel that furthered allowed him to issue the pain and suffering of the supernatural race.
Apparently, he was betrayed by some sort of supernatural creature in the past and felt like a fool as a result. Carter was the one to propose the kill order to the government, he was the start of it all.

David Martin
Male ▣ 30s-40s ▣ Hunters/Commander ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Matt Davis
Species: Half-blood
David is probably one of the most loyal individuals to the Hunters organization. Unfortunately, other people find this hard to believe due to his mixed heritage. His mother had been a manipulator, one of the forbidden monstrosities that the Hunters exist to extinguish. For reasons unknown, David wanted to join the organization, but he had to prove his worth somehow. One, he didn't want the others to know that he carried a supernatural gene, even though he possessed no powers of his own.
So, what did he do? He brought his mother in as though he had captured her. The idea of doing such an act of betrayal haunts him to this day. No one knows of his half-blood heritage and he'd prefer to keep it that way. He is the second in command of the Hunters, often teaching new recruits how to handle supernatural encounters. Out of him and Carter, he is more level-headed, more susceptible to reasoning.

Elinore Noland
Female ▣ 30-45 ▣ Hunters/Head of Science & Research ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Angelina Jolie
Don't let this woman's attractive looks fool you, she's a demon in disguise. That alone was more than enough reason for Carter to hire for the job. She is as cunning as a fox, and as dangerous as a snake. She is incredibly intelligent, having graduated from a university with a degree in the science field.
While Elinore never expected to be doing what she does now, she wouldn't look for any other type of work at this point. She is cruel and has no sympathy for the suffering of supernaturals, in fact she believes that they have no emotions, no feeling. This woman, head of the the Science and Research Department, was the one that came up with the idea to experiment on creatures to make their own super weapons, genetically modifying them if you will.
She often gets into arguments with Carter, and is probably the only one that can get away with doing so with her tongue still intact.

Ryan Moore
Male ▣ 25-30 ▣ Hunters/Head Supernatural Behavior, Specialist ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Josh Hutcherson
Species: Human
A rare trait among the Hunters organization, Ryan is actually a kind-hearted individual. He enjoys the unusual, strange creatures that somehow have found their way into reality. He almost always puts others before himself labeling him as quite selfless. Others consider that an incredible weakness, a crutch even. On a day to day basis, Ryan endures being treated like dirt by his fellow co-workers.
He is the only one that possesses some kind of compassion for the supernatural creatures that are taken in. He's even developed a fondness for the four genetically mutated mares that the lab came up with. It pains him to know that he can never correct the creatures' murderous dispositions.
Even though he has much too big of a heart to be working in a place such as this, he was hired on for the job of a supernatural trainer, training the more beastial supernaturals. Before he joined the Hunters, he had worked as a dog trainer for a small pet shop. This experience came in handy, enabling him to move up in rank to Head of the Supernatural Behavior and Training department.
He began working with Katherine, a new addition to the department. The pair work great together, a friendship blooming from their efforts. Unfortunately, after the recent brutal experiments on the captured Cerberus and other creatures, Ryan has been debating on abandoning the Hunters and joining the rebels. Such an act is considered treason by their standards and could result in the man's death, and the outside world wouldn't even utter a single argument over it.

KATHERINE THOMPSON
Female ▣ 21-30 ▣ Hunters/Supernatural Trainer ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Jennifer Lawrence
Species: Human
Katherine is what one would call, somewhat of a workoholic, and is nearly the opposite to Ryan. Often she feels more like a machine than anything, on autopilot. This makes her as much of a good worker, as it does an efficient one. She gives her all to her job and it shows, getting rewarded heavily for it, often by Carter himself. Some may say that the man has a soft spot for her in his dark pit of a heart.
It's not everyone that can catch his attention as she has, however. She has a dark past of her own that she struggles to keep under the table, but Carter knows all and sees great potential in her abilities; thus why she was hired. That and her spunky, yet obedient attitude; just enough to keep things interesting.
Though, she's not too fond of the man and often takes Ryan's point of view on the whole 'good vs. evil' thing. Often she finds herself wondering if it would be better to quit with him. She's integrated her entire life to this, but that doesn't necessarily mean she agrees with everything her boss does. Yet, she obeys because she loves what she does, and the worry of what he might do if she disobeyed, too great to try it.

Cerberus
Male ▣ 100+ ▣ Hunters/Experiment, Weapon ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Open
Species: Hellhound x Demon
Who am I?
To think that the actual guardian of the gates to the Underworld would ask himself such a thing. That's right, the Cerberus that the HOSC got their hands on is actually the Cerberus. He abandoned his duties in the Underworld for a fleeting moment to act as counselor of demons in the world of the living, specifically for Camp Mutiny. He didn't like the idea of playing cat and mouse, but he was growing quite annoyed with the sudden spike in the mortality rate due to hunters of the supernatural.
Here he reigned in his demon dog form and took on a human persona, Theo Demers. He is the silent type, perferring to be left to his own devices and lurking in the shadows. He finds fascination in the circle of life and would rather commune with the dead than the living.
The other counselors preferred not to strike conversation up with him deeming him a bit foreboding, alas the least likely of people approached him one day. Ronan Webber, an angel. Who knows what drew the counselor of angels to a dog, a demon dog no less. Perhaps it was because Cerberus warranted the gates to the underworld, barring the living from accidentally wandering to an early demise. Either way Cerberus appeared annoyed of the constant nagging from the angel until he finally gave in and just put up with his existence, occasionally cracking a half smirk.
He is knowledgeable on Greek lore, that being his heritage, but he refuses to partake in history lessons with anyone. If asked, he'd only smirk and say "perhaps in death you'll find out". Although he left the gates, he brought his protection the woods surrounding Camp Mutiny, serving as it's makeshift guard dog. This would soon bring about the three headed dog demon being captured by HOSC, securing them yet another experiment. They've long since applied both serums on Cerberus, forcing him to become obedient and overly aggressive. He has now forgotten who he was, what he ever was.
A secret weapon alongside the four mutated horse hybrids, perhaps the HOSC has a winning edge with Cerberus... unless he manages to regain his true self.

Aradia
Female ▣ 6 ▣ Modified Hybrid ▣ Played by Sparrow
Role: Experiment/Weapon
Species: Hybrid (genetically modified, non-shifting)
Aradia, one of four experimentally modified mares, offers her adopter the opportunity to play a creature without a human form. Following several failed equine experiments that were simply too aggressive and uncooperative to handle, scientists eventually created the genetically modified mare, who housed the genes of various animals, demons and manipulators. Though wielding an unstable temperament, she was shown to be intelligent, so much so that she was susceptible and obliging to certain commands, even from a young age.
They began to train bloodlust into her mind virtually as soon as she could walk, leading her to believe that anything that moved was a liable target. That included her handlers; she was almost put down multiple times after taking chunks from arms and hands of her keepers. With an overemphasized jaw, likely due to the combination of wolf and crocodile DNA in her bloodstream to encourage such a trait, and an elongated, serpentine tongue, her gastrointestinal system was modified to make her carnivorous.
One could call her a devil in disguise... but, let's be honest, the demon within isn't too hard to see. She is the most dominant of the four mares, her intelligence and cold, calculating demeanour ensuring a spot that could only be called an alpha, a leader. Such intuition, alongside streaks of human genes in her bloodstream, ensures that she can understand, and even mimic human speech without struggle. The manipulator genes within her also causes her to be particularly resistant to fire, unaffected by it as a fire manipulator would be (however, she cannot produce fire of her own accord). Having grown up in the lab, she knows very little of the outside world, and exists only for her given purpose - to kill. The only human being she bears an ounce of respect for is Carter, of whom she's listen to, and obey. Whether that is because she'd lose her life over ripping him apart or not has yet to be proven. She'll tolerate Ryan too, for now. As long as he doesn't get any closer than he needs to be, the fool.

Kanaya
Female ▣ 5 ▣ Modified Hybrid ▣ Played by Twiztid
Role: Experiment, Weapon
Species: Hybrid (genetically modified, non-shifting)
Kanaya, one of four experimentally modified mares, offers her adopter the opportunity to play a creature without a human form. When the decision was made to replicate Aradia and form some sort of pack, Kanaya was created alongside twin Terezi. The pair were made deliberately slightly more subdued than Aradia, slightly more obedient towards their handlers through birth imprinting, though they were raised to follow the same primal instincts, their existence seemingly revolving around bloodlust.
Though Kanaya and Terezi sport the same general DNA implements, oddly enough the faint cuttlefish genes are more prominent in this mare - although the genes aren't in multitudes enough to allow her to camouflage and change colour, they have resulted in translucent skin, most defined around the stomach and mid-neck area. True to carnivorous form, Kanaya wields the same serpentine tongue as Aradia, with slightly less defined jaws and teeth.
Just about willing to oblige to her imprinted trainer's will, Kanaya has secured second in command, despite being smaller than Terezi; her intelligence and swiftness keep her that position, able to come out on top during the frequent scuffles with her twin on account of her cunning. Like Aradia, she can understand English with ease due to the human DNA in her bloodstream. She knows very little of the outside world, having been born in the lab.

Terezi
Female ▣ 5 ▣ Modified Hybrid ▣ Open
Role: Experiment, Weapon
Species: Hybrid (genetically modified, non-shifting)
Terezi, one of four experimentally modified mares, offers her adopter the opportunity to play a creature without a human form. Born alongside twin Kanaya, Terezi has been shown to be more prone to accepting and carrying out her handler's commands than the Aradia. With lessened predatory DNA than the initially successful experiment, the natural aggression is slightly tuned down, more obedient towards the trainer that imprinted on her at birth. That being said, the twins were raised in the same manner as Aradia, thus following the same lust for bloodshed, and the same barbaric urges to slaughter.
She does not sport the same cuttlefish DNA induced translucency as her twin, however, she does bear the same serpentine tongue and modified jaws. On terms of physical build, she leans more towards the draft horse side, stockier and packing more muscle than her twin. That being said, her intelligence does not quite reach the same levels as Kanaya, nevermind brainbox Aradia, relying more upon her sturdiness than intellect. She has no trouble with basic human speech, though seems to be slightly less capable of mimicking it than Aradia and Kanaya.
Like the other mares, she knows next to nothing about what lies beyond the lab, and is only willing to accept the commands of her imprinted trainer.

Vriska
Female ▣ 3 ▣ Modified Hybrid ▣ Open
Role: Experiment/Weapon
Species: Hybrid (genetically modified, non-shifting)
Vriska, one of four experimentally modified mares, offers her adopter the opportunity to play a creature without a human form. Unlike the other three hybrids, adorned with numerous DNA strands, Vriska's genes are certainly more refined. Due to the lack of a multitude of predatory creatures' influences that the rest of the mares have, her carnivorous features are slightly less obvious, and her body more closely resembling the equine that dominates her system.
Vriska is by far the most placid of the four, receiving less training than the other three, however, this does not mean she is not dangerous. She often awaits another's command to attack, be it sourced from Aradia, Kanaya, Terezi, or one of the four's handlers. Also, unlike the others, she is slightly tolerant of touch (please do not assume this means she is cute, or seeks out affection - she dislikes it, but as said, tolerates it), and obedient to the lab and most of it's inhabitants. That being said, she's just as willing to rip out a throat or two when following the other mares' lead. By account of this apparent dependence on the orders of others, and the fact that she is the youngest, she is the lowest in command of the four mares, and sometimes acts submissively in their presence.
Like the other three, the human genes within provide the intelligence worthy of capability to understand and mimic human speech. She grew up within the lab, like the others, and knows very little of the world beyond it. She's also developed a faint fondness of Ryan, longing to please him above all and, though not often initiating any contact with him or offering any affection, is incredibly overprotective of him.

Katia Ivanov
Female ▣ 1000s+ ▣ Rebel Leader ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Nelly Furtado
Species: Fable (Dragon)
Katia bears her reptilian counterpart's stereotypical fiery temperament, and a certain fierce obsession with all things that glitter to match. She has collections of metal trinkets and jewelery stocked about her quarters, extremely reluctant to allow others to touch or move her precious items. Like any leader, the woman has a good amount of self control, however, a volatile anger lies beneath the façade, waiting to be unleashed at the slightest poke at it's sore spots. She rarely allows herself to get close to people emotionally, either, for reasons she keeps guarded.
Katia does have feelings, though.
Contrary to popular belief, she still has an ounce of human locked somewhere inside. But, for the sake of leading her people, she often pushes her emotions down and feels them another day, when she can afford to. It is a strategy that got her through a harsh childhood with an alcoholic mother, and still holds up, as if embedded permanently within her mind. From the past, Katia learned her lessons. Lead from the front. Always be aware. Always be in control.
Always.

Logan Novak
Male ▣ 1000s+ ▣ Rebel/Counselor of Fables ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Henry Cavill
Species: Any Fable
Logan bears quite the distinct manner of speaking, often leaning back upon dark topics and philosophical language; his grim speech and demeanour may be his true nature, or perhaps he is simply misunderstood. He's quite a downtrodden man, cynical and growing increasingly irritable as the rebellion progresses, finding the immoral nature of the HOSC frustrating.
Despite Katia commonly overlooking him, taking counselling of fables more into her own hands, he's developed quite the admiration for her. He does anything in his power to keep her on her own two feet, offering advice and assistance wherever she requires it - her sky-high control issues don't bother him nearly as much as they should.

Marko Johansson
Male ▣ 25-30 ▣ Rebels/Counselor of Werewolves ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Scott Eastwood
Species: Werewolf
Over confident and rather self-centred, Marko is characterized by his egotistical personality and an abrasive manner of speaking to match. Conceited and argumentative, he bears a great pride in the history of his species, priding it's survival through numerous struggles. In being relatively arrogant and sometimes self-centred, it is not unheard of for others to question his authority. Some believe that Marko blackmailed Katia into offering him power, whilst others say that there was formerly (perhaps even still continues to be) romantic involvement between the two of them.
The werewolf is excessively dominant, refusing to accept even the slightest ounce of disrespect - his need to silence blasphemous noise might just be the death of him one day. Alongside this, he has been said to be rather sexist, offering verbal abuse to those of the 'lesser' sex. Regardless of whether or not that is true, Marko certainly isn't lessening the rumour by throwing fuel on the fire, constantly throwing himself head first into scuffles with Isabel, rebuke and slander running rampant between them.

Isabel Rossi
Female ▣ 100+ ▣ Rebels/Counselor of Vampires ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Selena Gomez
Species: Vampire
There is rarely one to be found that is more strong-willed, stubborn and loyal than Isabel. She is fully dedicated to her cause, and once she sets her mind on something there is no convincing her otherwise; even if it’s from her very own leader. Given that she is wise beyond her years (Being over a century old), she often feels it’s her way or no way. This can strike a flame between her and top dog, Katia, surely, given that Isabel often finds herself thinking that she could run the Rebellion more efficiently. Though, she’s still breathing so it seems that they have a mutual respect for one another.
How long this lasts, or how strong the bond simply depends on the day; for deep within her she will always be a touch envious of her power and finesse. At the end of the day however, only two things remains on her mind; destroying the hunters (she has a special taste for their blood), and restoring balance within the supernaturals.

Brooke Stewart
Female ▣ 21-29 ▣ Rebels/Counselor of Spiritus ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Shaliene Woodley
Species: Spiritus (any animal daemon)
Brooke, just as young and sweet as her face implies, is relatively reserved, perhaps even subdued, in comparison to the other counselors. She is particularly close to Elijah, often seeking his advice. However amiable and convivial she may appear, she refuses to be overlooked and will not stand for being dubbed pathetic by anyone, taking strength in the morals she maintains, fully capable of upholding her own in any situation.
On terms of her upbringing, she had a relatively average life - not rich nor poor - until her mother was slaughtered by the hunters. This prompted her to join the rebellion, though she doesn't often talk about the loss of her parent, as the wound still seems to be very much raw. The only one she's opened up about it to is Elijah, whom she trusts wholeheartedly not to share the information - whether or not she regrets it has yet to be proven.

Elijah "Eli" Dobrev
Male ▣ 30-35 ▣ Rebels/Counselor of Shapeshifting ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Bradley Cooper
Species: Shapeshifter or Changeling
Elijah is, debatably, not the most open of men. Though approachable and fairly affable, he's been proven to be guarded about his past, reluctant to give away information regarding it to even those he trusts the most. Despite Brooke's obvious capability to take care of herself, Elijah is rather needlessly overprotective of her in many situations.
This is likely due to the fact that his former girlfriend - of whom he was engaged to at the time - looked fairly similar to the counselor of spiritus. Said girlfriend was taken from him by hunters, and upon his refusal to cooperate with them, slaughtered before his eyes. He still blames himself for it to this day.
As a result, he bears a ferocious hatred for the hunters, believing wholeheartedly that their organization is sick, twisted - and lest be honest, he's right..

Ronan Webber
Male ▣ 1000s+ ▣ Rebels/Counselor of Angels ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Misha Collins
Species: Angel
Here's a tip, if you're not an angel of some sort, you probably don't want to converse with Ronan. No, he isn't a bad guy. It's just that he'll go on and on, and on about his kind. He's the sort of person who takes pride in his own culture, automatically thinking everybody wants to hear long, elaborate stories.
Nevertheless, he is calm and always willing to help those who deserve and truly need it. Oddly enough, he was close friends to Theo James (Cerberus), formerly the counselor for demons. At this point Ronan won't say much about the demon hellhound beast, it seems to be a touchy subject for him.
Ronan is highly intelligent and seems to have taking a liking to tinkering with all sorts of things, from tech to common household items. He likes to take things apart and rebuild them again in hopes that he can grant things a new purpose to fulfill. Just between you and me, everyone thinks he's a bit weird. But that doesn't stop them from coming to him with a million and one questions at the end of the day.

Sofia Wagner
Female ▣ 25-30s ▣ Rebels/Counselor of Witchcraft ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Katy Perry
Species: Conjurer
Sofia is one functioning almost solely around her seemingly insatiable curiosity; innovative and imaginative, she sports an almost unquenchable thirst for knowledge. She's enthusiastic beyond belief, especially when speaking of conjurers and their history - she always seems to find a reason to smile, sociable and enthusiastic by accounts of most who meet her.
That being said, she is very dedicated when it comes to the defence of the refugees and other counselors, always ready to put her life on the line. Despite popular belief, she's actually very unlike the creepy witch stereotype and she despises the idea of slaughtering another soul. This is a fault of course, but thus far no incidents have occurred by its hands - for how long will it go unnoticed?

Connor Dubois
Male ▣ 30s-40s ▣ Rebels/Counselor of Manipulation ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Gerard Butler
Species: Manipulator
Connor is stubborn to a fault, which blemishes his otherwise benevolent attitude; though meaning well, his mulish attitude often gets in the way. Among the most difficult of counselors to persuade into anything, his rock-ribbed ways are often looked down upon. It is not unheard of for people to question why he was even allowed to become a counselor. However, above all, even above his inflexible mind set, Connor is a sweet talker, persuasive and suave, with a voice recognised to be infuriatingly smooth.
It is likely this that earned him such a high ranking position. He has endured no personal feats with hunters in the past, though knowledge alone of the vituperative organization of hunters lead him to join the oncoming rebellion.

Omri Lautris
Male ▣ 30s-40s ▣ Rebels/Counselor of Hybrids ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Richard Madden
Species: Hybrid (canid x avian)
The most evident thing about Omri is his phlegmatic personality, constantly maintaining a seemingly imperturbable state of mind. Even-tempered even when faced by the verbal harassment from fellow councelors due to his mixed blood, he's skilled at keeping a handle on his emotions. He's never disheartened by their comments. Not visually, anyway.
He is narcissistic, vain and ostentatious, close to an obsession with maintaining his allure. This is the same way in his hybrid form, constantly preening his feathers to perfection. He's never done too badly for money, either, and it's never even been proven that he knows that the word poor exists.

Orthrus
Male ▣ 100+ ▣ Neutral ▣ Open
Faceclaim: Open
Role: First experiment of Hunters, used the Compound 12Twenty, experiment failed
Species: Demon x Hellhound, older brother to Cerberus
Before Cerberus had been captured, there was Orthrus. Known primarily as Experiment 306 by the Hunters, Orthrus was an attempt to see if the Compound 12Twenty serum worked. It was an earlier, unstable version of the serum which led to the hellhound becoming extremely unpredictable and vicious.
The injection of the compound led to him becoming much more intelligent, more so than even his own brother. Unfortunately, multiple experiments led to him losing his former glory, and his second head removed (scientists attempted to see if a severed head would regrow into a new body; it did not). Risky, yet constant splicing and experimental procedures completely altered this mythical beast's original appearance. His fur has turned white, and he has developed an almost humanoid stance, similar to a werewolf. Multiple strains of DNA were mixed into his genetics, making him highly unstable, and unpredictable.
He will maintain an untramelled state at all costs, leading to him refusing to be controlled, rebellious even. He escaped the lab using his cunning in the year 2011, just before the Hunters gained much merit. He now roams freely, the serum strong in his bloodstream, incredibly stubborn and yearning to create chaos.
